Dr. Sachin Tulpule is a highly accomplished Medical Director and Specialist General & Laparoscopic Surgeon at Swift Day Surgery Centre, Dubai, affiliated with Kings College Hospital Dubai Hills. With a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years, he has built a reputation as a skilled clinician, leader, and innovator in the field of general, laparoscopic, and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Tulpule obtained his M.B.B.S. and M.S. in General Surgery from Shivaji University, India, before pursuing advanced international training. He completed a prestigious Fellowship in GI Oncosurgery and Advanced Laparoscopy (FIASGO) at the International Postgraduate School of IASGO, Athens, Greece, under the mentorship of the world-renowned surgical oncologist, Prof. N.J. Lygidakis. This fellowship provided him with extensive exposure to gastrointestinal oncology, liver and pancreatic resections, and advanced laparoscopic techniques, solidifying his expertise in complex abdominal surgeries.
Over the years, Dr. Tulpule has held several senior appointments across leading hospitals in India and the UAE. He has served as Head of the Department of General Surgery and Infection Control Board In-Charge at NMC Hospital, Dubai, where he played a central role in establishing surgical services, setting up hospital protocols, and leading accreditation processes. He has also contributed significantly to healthcare systems through his involvement in quality assurance, infection control, and patient safety, consistently ensuring the delivery of world-class surgical care.
Currently, as the Medical Director of Swift Day Surgery Centre, Dr. Tulpule provides strategic leadership while actively practicing as a specialist surgeon. He is instrumental in developing the centre’s vision, ensuring clinical excellence, and integrating modern technologies into surgical practice.
